What a wonderful thing it is when we have a sense of purpose, meaning, but also hope in our lives.
As creation in this world, it's hard not to feel the desire of longing, the want for love and attention, and a purpose in our lives.
For if we did not have a purpose on this earth, in this creation and nature, then life itself would be meaningless. If life is meaningless, then existence is on accident. If it's an accident, then we came to be from chance. If that is the case, then there is no designer or maker. We came from the "Big Bang" which was something out of nothing apparently.
But...
We do have purpose. We were each specifically designed. The earth was placed with pin point accuracy. The moon was positioned with a crisp position since life was created. It's so well placed that it fits perfectly, from our view on earth, around the sun to create a total lunar eclipse.
We are given a gift of life.
And life there after is available to use, not by works, not by good deeds, not by earning, but solely accepting that each one of us has sinned. We all fall short of being perfect. There is nothing we can do to "earn" our way into eternal life. Not by how many times we pray. Not by how many times we give to the poor or charities. It is solely calling upon the name of Jesus and his death on the cross in place of us for punishment.
Some might say, "we are god." Some might say, "everyone is right. Not one religion is right over the other." If that is the case, then everyone would be wrong if everyone was right. If everyone was wrong, then that goes back to the issue of accidental creation out of nothing.
Here's an example of this: If life was a courtroom, let's say, and one side was Christianity and the other side(s) was all other religions; one side has to be right in a courtroom setting. If both sides in a courtroom were wrong...they wouldn't be in the room (creation). If both sides in a courtroom were right...they wouldn't be or have need to be in the room (creation).
Out of all this, we need to have this in mind verses the worldly common saying: In life, search for not something to believe in, but search for the truth.
Jesus Christ is and was the only God who came to earth and took the place for our punishment of sin and falling short of glory compared to good works and living perfect lives to earn our eternal salvation.
